This time it was a village of Arkhangelske, Yasynuvata district (20 km to the west from the front line). According to the representatives of Ukrainian intelligence, it was the Russian General Staff which gave this criminal order to open fire, said Col. Andriy Lysenko, presidential administration spokesperson on the ATO-related issues.
Main hostilities occurred in Avdiyivka industrial zone. Intense shelling by militants lasted continuously for ten hours both at day and night. Other areas of hostilities: Luhanske, Horlivka outskirts, front line area stretching from Pisky to Opytne where militants, in particular, used mortars and armored vehicles.
In the Luhansk sector, in Stanytsia Luhanska, two enemy attacks occurred there at nighttime. Near Shchastya and in the area of the Bakhmut road, militants were inactive. Traditionally, the enemy was most active in Popasna area; however, no heavy weapons were applied.
In the Mariupol sector, hostilities continue in the far north and south parts of the sector: in Maryinka district and across the front line stretching from Pavlopil to Shyrokyne. The largest number of enemy attacks happened in Maryinka and surrounding areas.
Yesterday, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, and two were wounded in action.
