Vira Savchenko, sister of illegally imprisoned Ukrainian pilot and MP Nadiya Savchenko, has been removed from the wanted list of the Russian Federation.
Nadiya Savchenko’s lawyer Ilya Novikov wrote this on Twitter.
Novikov has attached the corresponding decision, signed on April 28 by the Head of the First Department of investigation of particularly serious offences of RF A. Karghalyev.
According to the document, there is no need to look for Vira Savchenko as her present whereabouts has been established.
Earlier, on April 27, Russian border guards tried not to let Vira Savchenko return to Ukraine. In particular, her passport was confiscated. According to the lawyers of Nadiya Savchenko, Vira Savchenko is threatened with the imprisonment for “contempt of court” in Russia.
On April 28 Vira Savchenko returned to Ukraine.
