This was reported by the press center of the ATO Staff.
According to the intelligence, the enemy keeps heavy weapons, prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, at a distance of approximately 8 km from the demarcation line.
“Militants actively use heavy weapons to shell borders and local residents of territories they control. Also, the weapons are used to shell positions of Ukrainian forces”, the Staff reports.
Significant number of shells and traces of movement at large distances prove the fact that militants continue to use the prohibited weapons rather actively.
Previously in Avdiivka, the enemy has launched several AP mines prohibited by Geneva Convention.
