Three More Ukrainian Soldiers Released From Militants’ Captivity

Such message was published on the Facebook page of Ukraine’s  President ]Petro Poroshenko.

“The head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Hrytsak reported on the release of three Ukrainian soldiers from captivity and called the names of our heroes.

This is Sergeant Harnaha, Junior Sergeant Dmytruk and soldier Makukha”, – wrote Poroshenko.

In turns, the representative of the President Iryna Herashchenko, who was at the site of release operation, said about the details on her Facebook page.

“Sergeant Serhii Harnahu was wounded in the line of duty and captured in May of 2015, here nearby Marinka. The soldier Oleksandr Makukha spent in the captivity of the militants one year. Together with his friends they defended Debaltseve”, – Herashchenko said

Meanwhile, according to Herashchenko, Sergeant Serhii Dmytruk was staying in militants’ captivity for almost half a year.

She stressed that President of Ukraine, the SSU, the Minsk Group and, what is the most important, families of prisoners were struggling for their release.
