Detained Russian Major Sentenced To 14 Years In Prison

“Half an hour ago the presiding judge of the court hearing by the Dzerzhinsky district court of Donetsk Region, at the request of the public prosecutor – the prosecutor of the Main Military Prosecutor’s Office – announced the verdict as to the Major of the Russian Federation Starkov, especially (among other articles of the Criminal Code) for participation in the conduct of an aggressive war against Ukraine pursuant to orders of the Chief of General Staff of Russia Gerasimov,”- wrote Matios.

He noted that judgement was about 14 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.

“Ukrainian court found Major Starkov entirely guilty” – added Matios.
