“Cyborgs'” Leader Liberated From Militants’ Captivity

Yesterday Ukrainian side liberated from the militants’ captivity the leader of 90th battalion of 81st brigade Oleh Kuzminykh, who had defended the Donetsk airport, informs the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on Facebook.

“At 21.58  our Cyborg – Oleh Kuzminykh was released from captivity” – wrote the President.

According to him, it was reported by First Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Hrytsak.

“Our soldier was liberated, not exchanged!” – noted the President.

Earlier on May 23, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced that the “great work in humanitarian subgroup of the tripartite contact group has been accomplished.”

“Today, with a high probability the commander of 90th Battalion of 81st Brigade, our “cyborg” Kuzminykh, who was held in captivity for many weeks, will be liberated, and we hope he’ll be home by tonight. We pray today for this operation to be successful, “- said the President.

Oleg Kuzminykh with a group of comrades-in-arms was captured by pro-Russian terrorists on January 20. On January 22 Russian media showed the video of Russians brutalizing “cyborgs.”
